This course is designed for anybody who loves football and wants to improve their English in an entertaining and enjoyable way.

What we study

This course is totally unique! We study grammar in a football context, we look at football vocabulary, listen to player and manager interviews, read match reports and watch videos. We also want students to speak as much as possible so we include many interactive activities, discussing all kinds of different topics connected to the beautiful game. We also use football to look at British culture, football songs and stories from all over the UK.

Course requirements

Students need to have some knowledge of English and must be at least conversational. B1 level minimum.

Course description

Our Football English course is different to all other courses! There is no other place to improve your English, meet people, have fun and talk about football, the game we all love. Classes are extremely interactive so students have lots of opportunities to speak, we have lots of class discussions and even sing some songs!

We use examples from the football world to study important grammar subjects like present perfect vs past simple, conditionals, comparatives and many more. Football vocabulary is also important so we study typical English expressions, phrasal verbs and idioms that are used in football.

Our experienced, football-loving teachers can help you reach the next level in your language studies and have a lot of fun at the same time. We believe it is vital to combine new language with real-life situations to show you how to use English. We also believe that studying outside the class is very important so we give you all the skills and knowledge you need to study effectively on your own and provide useful links to websites and videos, plus much more.
